Q – What are the Reception Hours? 

A- Reception and Tour Desk is manned  
Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pm 
Saturday – 9.30am to 3.00pm 
Sunday and Public Holidays 10.30am to 12.00pm 
Reception is always contactable by mobile phone as listed at the desk. 

Q- What do I need to do if I am arriving outside of Reception Hours? 

A- We will contact you the day prior to your arrival to confirm your arrival time. If your arrival is outside of our office hours, we will provide you our after hours instructions at that time. Guests may then officially check-in the next morning. 

Q - What do I need to do if I am departing outside of Reception Hours? 

A- If you will be departing outside of Reception Hours, please see the reception team to notify us & finalise your bill in the afternoon before your departure date. 
Please leave your key in the apartment for collection on your departure. If there is anything outstanding on your room account, it will be charged to the credit card provided.

Q – What are the opening times for the Pool and BBQ area? 

A – The BBQ and Pool are open from 7am-9pm each day 

Q- How do I arrange Airport Transfers? 

A- We can arrange airport transfers from Cairns Airport to Silkari Reflections of Port Douglas. The charge for this service is $51.60 per adult and $25.80 per child (2-11 years) each way. A family of 2+2 is $139.30 or a family 2+3 is $162.30 each way. Infants 23 months and under travel free of charge. The trip takes about 1 hour and must be booked well in advance. Flights arriving very late may require a private transfer. These costs are available on application. Costs are subject to change by the operator. 

From the 1st of April 2024 the charge for this service is $56.00 per adult and $28.00 per child (2-11 years) each way.  A family of 2 +2 is $151.70 or a family of 2+3 is $176.70 each way. Infants 23 months and under travel free of charge.

If you wish to secure a booking for an airport transfer, please e-mail us on reception.reflections@silkarihotels.com.au and provide us with the booking name, arrival date, flight details and the number of passengers travelling. If there are children travelling, their ages as well. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time. 

Q- Is there Parking Available? 

A- There is complimentary undercover parking available.  

Q- Is there a guest Laundry? 

A- All Apartments are fully self-contained and have internal laundries. 

Q – Are the apartments serviced daily? 

A- The apartments are self-contained and are only serviced for guests staying 8 nights or more. Where a mid-stay clean will occur.  

Any additional servicing may be requested with 24 hours’ notice and will be an additional cost. 

Q – Is the Pool Heated?  

A For your comfort the 15-metre saltwater pool is heated in winter and has an undercover wading section. 

Q; How far is Silkari Reflections of Port Douglas from the beach? 

A- Four Mile Beach is 50 metres from the Resort. 

Q – Are Beach Towels available? 

A- Beach towels are available from the Resort for $10.00 per towel per stay. 

Q- Are Beach Chairs available? 

A- The resort has a selection of beach chairs available for $10.00 per chair per stay.

Q- Is there a local shuttle service in Port Douglas? 

A- As you are in the heart of Port Douglas it is unlikely you will require a shuttle service, however, there is a local shuttle service around Port Douglas that operates from 7.00am until well past midnight so a car is not really needed. Casual trips are from $6 per person or multi-day passes are available. Costs are subject to change by the operator. 

Q – Are there any restaurants within walking distance? 

A- Silkari Reflections of Port Douglas is located at the quiet end of Macrossan Street, with an abundance of dining and entertainment options at your doorstep.
