Q - What do I need to do if I am departing before 7am?

A- If you will be departing before 7am please see reception to notify us & finalise your bill in the afternoon before your departure date. Please leave your key in the drop box located at the front of reception for collection. If there is anything outstanding left on your room account, it will be charged to the credit card provided.  

Q - Where can I book local tours and get local info?

A- Our knowledgeable reception staff can provide all the local information you may require during your stay. They can assist you with all your tour bookings or self-drive maps to ensure you get the most out of your time in Port Douglas.    

Q - What are the opening times for the Pools and BBQ area?

A – The BBQ’s and Pools are open from 7am-9pm each day.

Q - How do I arrange Airport Transfers?

A- We can arrange airport transfers from Cairns Airport to Silkari Lagoons Port Douglas. The charge for this service is $51.60 per adult and $25.80 per child (2-11 years) each way. A family of 2+2 is $139.30 or a family of 2+3 is $162.30 each way. Infants 23 months and under travel free of charge. The trip takes about 1 hour and must be booked in advance. Flights arriving very late may require a private transfer. These costs are available on application.

From the 1st of April 2024 the charge for this service is $56.00 per adult and $28.00 per child (2-11 years) each way.  A family of 2 +2 is $151.70 or a family of 2+3 is $176.70 each way. Infants 23 months and under travel free of charge.

If you wish to secure a booking for an airport transfer, please e-mail us on reception.lagoons@silkarihotels.com.au and provide us with the booking name, arrival date, flight details and the number of passengers travelling. If there are children travelling, their ages as well. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

Q - Is there a local shuttle service in Port Douglas?

A- There is a local shuttle service around Port Douglas that operates from 7.00am until well past midnight so a car is not really needed. Casual trips are from $6 per person or multi-day passes are available. Costs are subject to change by the operator.

Q - How far is Silkari lagoons from the beach?

A- Four Mile Beach is a 5-minute walk.

St Crispin’s Café

Lunch from 11:00am to 2:30pm

Located at St. Crispins train station which has been transformed into a delightful country garden style café, overlooking a tranquil lake. Dine on the timber veranda with breathtaking views over the Daintree Ranges and the sprawling greenery of the Mirage Country Club golf course in the foreground. St Crispin’s has some of the best coffee in town and is well worth the walk although it does have a carpark if you wish to drive.
