Q – What are the Reception Hours?
A- Reception is manned -
Monday to Sunday – 6.00am to 8.00pm
Should you wish to contact reception during your stay please dial 9 from your in-room telephone between 6.00am and 8.00pm. Outside of these hours please call 4970 0000
which will divert to the after hours mobile number.
Check-in time is from 2.00pm
Check-out time is prior to 10.00am
Q- What do I need to do if I am arriving outside of Reception Hours?
A- If your scheduled arrival time is outside of the reception hours, please contact the hotel and they will advise you of the arrival procedures and relevant access codes. Alternatively, the hotel will contact you if you have not arrived before reception closes.
Q - What do I need to do if I am departing outside of Reception Hours?
A- If you will be departing outside of Reception Hours, please see the reception team to notify us & finalise your bill in the afternoon before your departure date. Please leave your key in the express check-out box located at reception on your departure.
If there is anything outstanding left on your room account, it will be charged to the credit card provided.
If you are staying at Capricorn Apartments, please see the reception team and they will advise you.
Q – How do I access the Hotel after hours while staying at the Hotel?
A- The main doors of the Hotel are locked at 8pm each night for your added security. You will be provided an access code to the main door at your check-in.
Q- Is there Parking Available?
A -There is complimentary parking available at the rear of the Hotel.
At Capricorn Apartments there is complimentary parking outside of your apartment.
Q- Is there a guest Laundry?
A- There is a guest laundry located on the lower ground floor. The washing machine is $3.00 per wash and the dryer is $3.00 per cycle.
Q – Are the rooms serviced daily?
A- Depending on the rate you have purchased, the rooms are serviced daily Monday to Friday until 3pm. Additional amenities may be supplied after hours or on the weekends by contacting Reception.
Q – Is the Hotel a Non-Smoking property?
A – For the enjoyment of all our guests, the Hotel is a non-smoking property. This includes the rooms, balconies and pool area. Please see our reception team to be directed to the designated smoking area for the Hotel.
Q – Is there a Pool?
A- The hotel has a sparking pool located on the ground floor, surrounded by sheltered sun lounges for you to take advantage of the Gladstone sunshine.
Q- Is there a Restaurant in the Hotel?
A- Rocksalt is located on the ground floor. We recommend that you make a reservation directly with the Restaurant by dialing 825 from your room.

5.30pm – 8.00pm
Room service is available by Rocksalt during their opening hours.
Q – Are there any restaurants within walking distance?
A- The Gladstone Central Hotel is in the centre of Goondoon Street, with several dining and entertainment options at your doorstep.
